Jellybeans and Finals

Welcome to the final leg of the Spring Semester!  We at the library wish you well on finals and hope to make this stressful time a little less so.  Come in and find not only your friendly reference librarian, ready and willing to lend a research hand, but a comfortable, quiet study space.  Be sure to give your best guess as to how many jellybeans in the jar- if you guess right, you win the jar plus few other goodies!  Be sure also, to take note of our extended hours:

Mon-Thurs      8am-12 midnight       

Fri                    8am-11pm

Sat                   10am-9pm

Sun                   12noon- 12 midnight

 

New Library Website is Up and Running!

 

The “new and improved” Cleveland Library website is all set and ready for you to use!  New colors, fonts and functions make searching for books, videos and databases easier- even chat with a libriarian about any reference questions you may have!  All of this from the comfort of your own laptop.  Let us know what you think.

Is the library’s website putting you to sleep? Not any longer. Change is coming after Spring Break.

 Be on the look out for our new library website design.  A group of library staffers have been working hard to include useful tools in new colors, fonts and easier access to things that you NEED!  Alot of the new design was based on input from students, so we hope yo find it useful.  If you have any feedback let us know!

Welcome to Spring Semester 2012!

 

 Now that spring semester is here, the snow has finally made its winter debut!  Come to the library and get ideas on how to make the most of snow and wintertime fun.  We have a great optical illusion display set up to challenge your peepers.  Gain insight and learn about various African- American leaders- including Martin Luther King in another display.  Make it your New Year resolution to make this the best semester yet!  That means using all the resources at your disposal in the library to ensure your success.  We are, as always, dedicated to your academic success and we look forward to seeing you at the library!

Good Luck with Finals

As the last week of classes approach, we at the library want to wish  all our hardworking students good luck on finals!  Come in for some hot tea, coffee, cocoa and cookies to give you sustenance for studying.  We hope you have a wonderful, relaxing break and enjoy your time with family and friends.  Don’t forget, our raffle is still going on; enter to win a giant jar of SKITTLES candy and a great prize that includes a digital photo key chain, a flash drive and other necessities!  Winners will be picked December 12.
